construction of a water well in herat - dedicated to abdulhamid
Naseer Welfare Foundation recently completed the construction of a deep-water well in the province of Herat, dedicated in the name of Abdulhamid. The project, which took just under three weeks to complete, now provides a sustainable source of clean drinking water to hundreds of residents who previously faced long, daily walks to access safe water.
In Afghanistan, where an estimated 79% of the rural population struggles with water scarcity and relies on unsafe or distant sources, initiatives like this are a lifeline for entire communities. This well stands as a testament to the impact that targeted charity projects can have, offering both immediate relief and long-term health benefits for the people of Herat.
